Support That Protects Independence
PR Home Care team members provide dependable companionship, routine support, safety observation, family respite, and practical help around the home. This position is best suited for people who notice details, communicate clearly, respect boundaries, and understand that small actions can make a meaningful difference.
Companionship
Conversation, social connection, shared activities, and a reassuring presence.
Lifestyle Support
Light housekeeping, laundry, meal setup, organization, and routine reminders.
Safety Observation
Awareness of changes, fall risks, missed routines, and concerns that should be reported.
Family Respite
Reliable support while a family caregiver rests, works, or manages other responsibilities.

What We Look For

- Comfort using a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
- Dependability for scheduled four-hour or longer assignments
This Is a Hands-Off Role
Team members do not provide:
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, or toileting
- Hand-feeding or personal-care assistance
- Transfers, lifting, or hands-on mobility support
- Medication administration or medical care
- Transportation of clients
Before Client Placement
Background Check
Ability to pass the required criminal background screening.
Drug Screening
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Driver’s License
A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to assignments.
TB Screening
Documentation of a current TB screening before placement with a client.
Work Authorization
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Training Readiness
Completion of required orientation, training, quizzes, and agency documentation.
Please note: A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required so employees can travel independently to assigned homes. PR Home Care employees do not transport clients.
Service area: PR Home Care is licensed to serve Wake, Durham, Pitt, Nash, Edgecombe, Wilson, Granville, Chatham, Franklin, Johnston, Orange, and Harnett counties. Hiring and assignment availability varies by location, client need, schedule, and candidate fit.
