About PR Home Care
Support Before Hands-On Care Is Needed
PR Home Care helps older adults stay safer, supported, and independent at home through non-medical companion support, lifestyle support, transportation assistance, family relief, and fall-prevention awareness.
PR Home Care was created for families who are starting to worry, but whose loved one does not yet need hands-on personal care.
Many older adults are still independent, but they may need extra support with companionship, routines, errands, transportation, light lifestyle support, or home safety awareness.
That is the stage PR Home Care is built for.
We help bridge the gap between full independence and hands-on care by providing dependable, non-medical support that helps older adults remain connected, supported, and more comfortable at home.
Our Focus
Our focus is simple: support independence before a crisis happens.
PR Home Care provides non-medical support for older adults who may be spending too much time alone, missing routines, needing help with errands or outings, or showing signs that extra support at home would be helpful.
We are not here to take over a senior’s independence.
We are here to support it.
What Makes PR Home Care Different
PR Home Care is not built around rushing in after a fall, hospitalization, or major care need.
We focus on the earlier stage many families overlook — when an older adult is still mostly independent, but support is becoming necessary.
Our agency helps families put support in place before caregiver stress, isolation, home safety concerns, or routine changes become overwhelming.
Our Service Philosophy
Safety and peace of mind first.
Dependability second.
Compassion throughout.
PR Home Care believes non-medical support should be clear, consistent, respectful, and focused on preserving independence whenever possible.
PR Home Care may be a good fit for older adults who:
• Are mostly independent but need extra support
• Spend long periods of time alone
• Need companionship or routine check-ins
• Need help with errands, appointments, or outings
• Need light lifestyle support around the home
• Have family members who need relief
• Have home safety concerns that need attention
• Do not currently need hands-on personal care
PR Home Care provides non-medical companion and lifestyle support.
Our role may include companionship, supervision, light lifestyle support, meal support, errands, transportation assistance, family relief, and fall-prevention awareness.
We do not provide skilled nursing, hands-on personal care, medical treatment, diagnosis, therapy, medication administration, injections, or wound care.
If a higher level of care is needed, we will be clear about when PR Home Care may not be the appropriate fit.
PR Home Care serves Raleigh, Cary, and surrounding Wake County communities.
Our agency is focused on helping families take the next step before hands-on care is needed.
